- Born in Southern Illinois a long time ago. A dad, artist of sorts and teacher. Enjoy being dad, art, friends, home, dry humor, family, traveling, learning about completely useless stuff, snow, thunderstorms, being single, alone time, peanut butter, ITALIAN FOOD, punk rock, learning completely useless stuff, a morning cup of coffee, growing old gracefully, being liberal and pissing off right wingers. I do not enjoy deadlines, turtlenecks, objects that are BIG and loud, , sleepwalking, tanning beds, Broadway musicals, urban sprawl, auto tune vocal stylings, the sound of high heels on a hard wood/tile floor, and people who take every opportunity behind the wheel of a car to act out their favorite chase scene from The Dukes of Hazzard. Personal heroes include Jo Frost the Super Nanny, Jimmy Carter, and my grandfathers.
